It can be easy to fall into the trap of skipping the gym because you just don’t feel motivated enough to go; but its time to hit the gym. Perhaps you drank too much the night before or work has been stressful and you just don’t have the drive you need. Without pushing yourself and sticking to a regular exercise plan, your body will never make the change you want it to. Set your own personal goals and use that as motivation for going to the gym.

When you go to the gym, you are able to burn off precious calories that you wouldn’t have been able to sat at home on the couch. This is important if you tend to overeat or are trying to hit a caloric deficit for improved weight loss. When you regularly attend the gym, you have more leeway with your diet than you would have had otherwise.
