We know not everyone has the time to sit in their kitchen and prepare waffle batter. For this reason, we created a recipe that utilizes 4 key ingredients to create a thick batter you can put directly into your waffle maker. Plus, you can even cook them ahead and freeze them for later! All you have to do is nuke them for 30 seconds in the microwave or pop them in the toaster for a delicious pumpkin spice waffle whenever you get a craving. It really is that simple!

Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles Recipe

Ingredients

(1) heaping scoop of Yo-Whey Pumpkin Spice
(1) tsp Baking Powder
(1) Egg (or 1 oz. Egg White International)
(3) tbs Water (or as needed to reach desired consistency)

Directions

Turn your waffle iron on so it preheats while the other ingredients are mixed to create a waffle batter.

Mix Yo-Whey Pumpkin Spice and baking powder in a bowl until the ingredients are combined.

Crack eggs and gently whisk into the mixture until the powder mixture begins to thicken.

Add water slowly 1 tbs. at a time until the batter reaches your desired consistency. Make sure you don’t add too much water or your batter will become too runny. Make sure it is thick, but also pourable.

If desired, spray waffle iron with Pam or another coating to ensure waffles don’t stick.

Pour your Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffle batter into the waffle iron and cook based on your waffle maker manufacturer’s suggestion or check occasionally to make sure the waffle doesn’t overcook.

Take the Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles out of the waffle iron and top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
